Consultant General Medicine Physician – Full-Time in Salem

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Consultant General Medicine Physician to join a reputable 100‑bed hospital in Salem, Tamil Nadu. The role offers extensive OPD and IPD exposure, emergency care responsibilities, and opportunities for professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage OPD and IPD patients, providing diagnosis and treatment for acute and chronic conditions.
• Conduct daily ward rounds, assess patient progress, and update clinical records.
• Handle medical emergencies and critical cases, including ICU support when required.
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and infectious diseases.
• Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary hospital teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with medical standards.

Required profile

• MD or DNB in General Medicine.
• Valid registration with the NMC or State Medical Council.
• Ability to join immediately; both fresh graduates and experienced physicians are welcome.
• Strong clinical and patient‑management capabilities.
