Pharmacy Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead the hospital pharmacy at Salem Gopi Hospitals. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for safe, accurate and efficient medication dispensing for both in‑patients and out‑patients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including prescription review, validation and dispensing.
• Manage pharmacy staff, mentor technicians and ensure performance standards.
• Control inventory, monitor medication storage, and handle controlled substances in compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with physicians and nurses on medication therapies and support immunization services.
• Develop, update and enforce pharmacy procedures and policies.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives focused on medication safety and cost‑effective use.

Required profile

• Licensed Pharmacist with a B.Pharm or PharmD degree.
• Prior experience managing a hospital or clinical pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, controlled substances and accreditation standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy management software.
• Experience using hospital information systems.
