Consultant – Gastroenterology

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Consultant in Gastroenterology to join our team at Kiran Hospital. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and management services for patients with gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and related digestive disorders across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical evaluations and investigations for patients presenting with digestive system conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medical and procedural interventions.
• Manage patient care in OPD, IPD, and emergency departments, ensuring adherence to hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, radiologists, and nursing staff, to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS) with postgraduate qualification (MD, DM, or DrNB) in Gastroenterology.
• 3–5 years of relevant clinical experience in gastroenterology.
• Strong knowledge of gastrointestinal, hepatic, and pancreatic diseases.
• Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment and handle emergency cases.
