Consultant Gastroenterologist (Kanpur)

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our multi‑speciality hospital in Kanpur. The position offers hands‑on clinical exposure, mentorship from senior gastroenterologists, and the chance to develop advanced endoscopic skills.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient gastroenterology consultations and manage inpatient and emergency cases.
• Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and biliary disorders, including GERD, peptic ulcer disease, IBS, IBD, hepatitis, and cirrhosis.
• Evaluate and manage gastrointestinal bleeding and other emergencies.
• Assist in and perform upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy under supervision, adhering to hospital privileges.
• Develop treatment plans, maintain accurate patient records, and provide follow‑up care.
• Collaborate with senior gastroenterologists, physicians, surgeons, and intensivists.

Required profile

• DM Gastroenterology or DrNB Gastroenterology with valid NMC/Uttar Pradesh Medical Council registration.
• Freshers are welcome; candidates with fresh DM/DrNB qualifications are eligible.
• Strong clinical knowledge of gastroenterology and a patient‑centric approach.
