Consultant Gastroenterologist – Kanpur

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our multi‑speciality hospital in Kanpur. The role offers hands‑on clinical and procedural exposure under the mentorship of senior gastroenterologists, allowing you to develop expertise in both medical and endoscopic management of gastrointestinal disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct gastroenterology OPD consultations and manage IPD and emergency cases.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of GI, liver, pancreatic and biliary disorders, including GERD, peptic ulcer disease, IBS, IBD, hepatitis, cirrhosis and GI bleeding.
• Assist and perform endoscopic procedures such as Upper GI Endoscopy and Colonoscopy under appropriate supervision.
• Develop treatment plans, provide follow‑up care, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with senior gastroenterologists, surgeons, intensivists and other specialists.

Required profile

• DM Gastroenterology or DrNB Gastroenterology qualification.
• Valid NMC / Uttar Pradesh Medical Council registration.
• Freshers are welcome; fresh DM/DrNB candidates can be considered.
• Professional, ethical and patient‑centric attitude with willingness to learn under senior guidance.
