Consultant – Application Management & Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a Consultant to join OpenText’s Managed Services team, delivering application management and maintenance for OpenText customers worldwide. The role focuses on ensuring availability, performance and capacity of StreamServe/Exstream platforms while supporting cloud and on‑premise deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor and maintain OpenText solutions (OT Cloud, on‑premise, or third‑party IaaS).
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and implement work‑arounds for availability, performance or capacity issues.
• Execute deployments, apply patches, and carry out upgrades and migrations.
• Participate in technical design, advanced configuration of StreamServe/Exstream components and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.
• Work in rotating shifts (morning, regular, afternoon) to provide 24/7 support.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in production operations or software support for OpenText StreamServe/Exstream platforms.
• Strong understanding of operating systems and networking as they relate to application performance.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams.

Required skills

• OpenText StreamServe, StoryTeller and Design Manager.
• OpenText Control Center, Communication Builder and Workshop.
• Input and Output Connectors.
• Performance tuning, patch management, upgrade and migration processes.
• Experience with cloud environments (OT Cloud, IaaS).
