Construction Supervisor – Elevator Services

About the role

The Construction Supervisor will coordinate daily activities between field employees and customers, ensuring safe and efficient execution of elevator construction, modernization, and maintenance projects across the Mumbai territory.

Key responsibilities

• Plan daily schedules based on previous‑day feedback and incoming callbacks.
• Allocate manpower on a day‑to‑day basis and monitor call‑back trends.
• Conduct annual equipment surveys and preventive repair planning for all elevators in the territory.
• Perform New Installation Surveys (NIS) before taking over new construction or modernization jobs.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety audits, and Fatality Preventive Audits.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports and ensure timely closure of repair orders.
• Inspect quality through random checks and enforce EH&S policies.
• Participate in risk‑assessment (JHA) mitigation, incident investigations, and safety meetings.
• Maintain client relationships, negotiate contracts, and follow up on invoices and payments.

Required profile

• Diploma or BE in Engineering.
• 5‑8 years of experience in elevator service or construction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Assertive, proactive, result‑oriented and able to handle high‑profile customers.
