Construction Site Supervisor

About the role

The Construction Site Supervisor ensures efficient and safe execution of construction projects in the real‑estate and property‑development sector. Reporting to senior project management, the role coordinates on‑site activities, enforces quality standards, and guarantees adherence to timelines, technical drawings and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring work follows approved plans, specifications and schedules.
• Supervise labor teams and contractors, managing work distribution, productivity and safety compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with site engineers, architects and project managers to resolve technical challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of progress, material usage, workforce attendance and safety incidents.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards and company policies.
• Facilitate timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
• Report progress, risks and key developments to the project manager.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience supervising construction sites in real‑estate or infrastructure projects.
• Diploma/ITI in Civil Engineering or a graduate degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and safety regulations.
• Proven ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts and maintain on‑site discipline.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work outdoors in physically demanding environments with variable schedules.

Required skills

• Interpretation of construction drawings, blueprints and technical documents.
• Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance procedures.
