Construction Project Manager – Data Center (BOM)

About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services is looking for a Construction Project Manager to support the design, planning, delivery, and operation of new data centre facilities in the Hyderabad region. You will work alongside a diverse team of engineers, supply‑chain specialists and operations managers to ensure safe, cost‑effective, and high‑quality construction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior team members in managing construction activities for new builds and capital projects.
• Drive cost‑reduction initiatives and schedule optimisation while maintaining quality standards.
• Oversee day‑to‑day construction activities, including contractor coordination and site supervision.
• Support resilience‑focused projects that enhance data‑centre reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align construction plans with AWS safety and security standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction management or a related engineering discipline (architectural, electrical, or mechanical).
• Ability to manage contractors and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of large‑scale infrastructure projects and data‑centre requirements.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
