Construction Manager – Marine Projects

About the role

The Construction Manager will oversee marine construction projects, ensuring technical excellence, financial control and client satisfaction. This role supports the Resident Engineer/Team Leader in resolving challenges and leads the construction team to meet schedules, budgets and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the execution of marine construction works, particularly jetty projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets and quality assurance throughout the construction cycle.
• Prepare and present progress reports to ensure transparency with clients.
• Provide guidance to staff, resolve technical issues and act as advisor to meet project goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience managing marine construction projects, with strong jetty construction background.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Analytical mindset to evaluate complex project issues and deliver solutions.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of construction techniques, planning, scheduling, budgeting and quality control.
• Proficiency in preparing reports, conducting progress reviews and managing project documentation.
