Construction Manager

About the role

Chemelex is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the planning, execution, and commissioning of projects across its global portfolio of electric thermal and sensing solutions. You will be responsible for driving strategic project planning, risk and cash flow management, and ensuring successful delivery within budget and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage preliminary project plans, site selection, layout, and detailed engineering specifications.
• Monitor site activities, control costs, and ensure cash‑flow requirements are met.
• Oversee contract execution, change management, and customer communication regarding schedule and scope.
• Lead erection, commissioning, testing, and inspections to verify operational effectiveness.
• Conduct plant safety audits, implement occupational safety improvements, and maintain safety plans.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and design teams to coordinate resources and subcontractor activities.
• Maintain quality assurance/quality control documentation, ISO records, as‑built drawings, and final hand‑over packages.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction project management, including planning, budgeting, and risk management.
• Strong leadership skills to mentor and monitor multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to coordinate resources across multiple projects and ensure alignment with customer schedules.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder and customer interaction.
