Conflicts Analyst – Risk Management

About the role

The Clearance Centre supports Clifford Chance’s global risk management function. As a member of the Post Clearance Team in Delhi, you will evaluate conflicts of interest and ensure compliance with firm policies and regulatory rules across the firm’s worldwide practice.

Key responsibilities

• Review clearance requests for new mandates, amendments, and supplementary matters.
• Analyse data from the firm’s conflict management systems and external databases (e.g., Orbis, Merger Market) to identify potential conflicts.
• Research client and counter‑party relationships to assess conflict risk.
• Communicate findings to partners, fee earners, and secretaries, and facilitate the decision‑making process.
• Escalate complex or high‑risk requests to senior team members.

Required profile

• Graduate degree, preferably in Law, with 3‑4 years of corporate or MNC experience.
• Experience using Intapp Open or a similar conflict‑management tool.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
