Concrete Technologist (Executive N)

About the role

The Executive N – Concrete Technologist is a frontline technical position focused on concrete admixture solutions. Based in Raipur, the role supports business objectives by conducting on‑site trials, customizing formulations, and converting sales leads into concrete product sales through technical expertise and strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Customize admixture formulations at project sites to meet client performance requirements.
• Test and validate formulations against specified parameters and prepare sample kits for client evaluation.
• Design specialized concrete mixes such as self‑compacting and precast concrete.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑sale technical assistance on admixture products at project locations.
• Conduct on‑site sampling and testing to build customer confidence.
• Develop long‑term relationships with contractors, RMCs, QA/QC personnel, and other stakeholders.
• Collect and analyse competitor product samples to drive product improvements.
• Support marketing in product trials and generate insights on APL product performance.
• Identify non‑APL stakeholders and convert them through product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Research & Technology teams for new product development based on market feedback.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (minimum 50% marks, no backlogs) from a Tier III/IV institute; other degrees considered with relevant experience.
• Coursework in Advanced Concrete Technology is desirable.
• 1–8 years of experience in ready‑mix concrete or admixture companies (e.g., BASF, Myk, Fosroc, Chryso, Sika).
• Strong knowledge of civil construction processes and concrete/admixture products.
