Computer Technician

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Computer Technician to join our IT team. In this role you will ensure that all desktop, laptop and peripheral equipment runs smoothly, providing timely support to end‑users across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues promptly.
• Provide technical support to end‑users both remotely and on‑site.
• Perform system updates, apply patches and manage backups as required.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of hardware components and software licenses.
• Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure upgrades and rollouts.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and operational standards.
• Document technical procedures, configurations and service records.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Computer Technician, IT Support Specialist or similar role.
• Solid understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows and/or macOS environments.
• Familiarity with networking principles such as TCP/IP, routers and switches.
