Computer Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an autonomous, high‑integrity Computer Network Security Engineer to join Knowdis.ai in Delhi. You will own the design, implementation and continuous improvement of our network security architecture, protecting our AI‑driven e‑commerce platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain highly secure network architectures, managing firewalls, VPNs and IDS/IPS solutions.
• Continuously monitor networks for vulnerabilities and active threats, lead incident response, perform root‑cause analysis and rapid remediation.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and data‑protection laws.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering and data‑science teams to harden systems, enforce Zero Trust access controls and elevate the overall security posture.
• Lead security awareness initiatives, educate staff on best practices, mitigate insider threats and foster a security‑first culture.

Required profile

• Based in Delhi (or willing to relocate immediately) and able to work on‑site in a hybrid model.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Network Security Engineer, Information Security Analyst or similar role managing complex IT infrastructure.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of security initiatives.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with next‑gen firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
• Deep knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching) and VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL).
• Experience with SIEM platforms, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools and network monitoring solutions.
• Familiarity with IDS/IPS, penetration testing and security audit methodologies.
