Compliance Manager – Airport Security

About the role

The Compliance Manager will oversee all security‑related compliance activities at Goa International Airport (GGIAL). This includes issuing Aerodrome Entry Permits, vetting concessionaires and service providers, and ensuring adherence to BCAS and other regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with BCAS, CISF, Goa Police and other authorities on operational matters and emergencies.
• Obtain security approvals and vetting from BCAS and CISF for GMR Business continuity.
• Coordinate timely issuance of Aerodrome Entry Permits (approximately 4,000 permanent and 50‑100 temporary permits daily).
• Monitor and enforce BCAS alerts, additional security measures and incident reporting.
• Prepare compliance reports, MIS and support internal audits in line with the Airport Security Programme.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with BCAS, Ministry of Civil Aviation and other statutory bodies.

Required profile

• Graduation in any discipline.
• Basic AVSEC certification from the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (mandatory).
• AVSEC Management certification (preferred).
• 10‑15 years of security experience, with at least 5 years in aviation.
• Experience working in Goa or with Goan authorities is an advantage.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of AVSEC regulations and procedures.
