Compliance Analyst - Privacy Operations

About the role

The Compliance Analyst will provide essential operational support for AlphaSense’s global data privacy program within the Enterprise Compliance Risk Management (ECRM) team. This entry‑level position is responsible for the timely and accurate execution of the Subject Rights Request (SRR) process, ensuring data access and deletion requests are handled with diligence and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end processing of Subject Rights Requests, from intake and identity verification through fulfillment, ensuring timely, structured, and well‑documented responses.
• Collaborate with business managers to gather relevant data for SRRs, including usage, purpose, legal basis, transfer, and retention information.
• Support privacy assessment and control processes by documenting and following up on agreed actions related to operational findings.
• Identify and implement improvements to the SRR workflow, documentation, and overall operational efficiency.
• Prepare concise summaries and reports for senior management in ECRM, communicating findings clearly both verbally and in writing.

Required profile

• Diligent and detail‑oriented with strong attention to accurately processing and documenting SRRs.
• Foundational knowledge of privacy, data protection concepts, or regulatory compliance (advantageous).
• Ability to empathize with stakeholders and articulate privacy impacts clearly.
• Strong written communication and collaboration skills to gather information from data owners and business partners.
