Lead Compliance Analyst

About the role

Ethos Life is looking for an experienced Lead Compliance Analyst to drive identification of compliance risks and deliver actionable insights across multiple data sources. The role requires deep analytical expertise, the ability to work independently, and a focus on improving compliance processes as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze large, disparate data sets to uncover compliance risk trends, control gaps, outliers, and emerging exposures, quantifying their business impact.
• Build and maintain recurring risk analytics, including dashboards, key risk indicators, and monitoring queries for continuous leadership visibility.
• Lead responses to regulatory inquiries and examinations, improving intake, documentation, and trend analysis.
• Coordinate the annual third‑party administrator license renewal, addressing jurisdictional and procedural challenges.
• Evaluate and redesign policies and procedures, proposing and implementing enhanced practices with limited oversight.

Required profile

• 5+ years of regulatory or insurance compliance, risk, or audit experience with depth in at least one functional area (e.g., data privacy, AI, sales practices).
• Strong analytical ability to integrate data from multiple systems and identify hidden risk patterns.
• Proven track record of operating independently, driving outcomes, and improving compliance processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google tools (Google Workspace).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
