Community Manager

About the role

GoodSpace, an AI‑powered hiring platform, is launching GoodSpace Gold – an exclusive community for its most engaged users. As the Community Manager you will be the voice, host, and operator of this community, working directly with the founders to make it the most valuable career community in India.

Key responsibilities

• Own the community calendar: write announcements, maintain a high‑signal cadence, and keep the community active.
• Welcome and onboard new members, drive introductions, and stimulate organic conversations.
• Run the interest‑mapping funnel using forms and Google Sheets, creating new sub‑groups as demand arises.
• Coordinate member benefits such as resume review batches, job referrals, merch drops, and early‑access cohorts.
• Plan and execute online AMAs, offline meetups, and hackathons, handling venue, speakers, invites, and follow‑ups.
• Collect and structure product feedback from members and deliver it to the product team weekly.
• Track community health metrics (growth, activation, engagement, event turnout) and report weekly.
• Moderate the community, enforce guidelines, and resolve conflicts.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience managing an online community (WhatsApp, Discord, Telegram, or Slack) with demonstrable growth metrics.
• Proven ability to scale a community from small to meaningful size.
• Excellent written English; your messages set the tone for the entire community.
• Experience organizing both online and offline events.
• Data‑driven decision making using Google Forms/Sheets and basic analytics.
• High ownership and responsiveness, comfortable handling evenings and weekends sustainably.
