Community Manager – Customer Engagement (WhatsApp Communities)

About the role

We are seeking a customer‑first Community Manager to build, engage, and nurture our customer community on WhatsApp and other digital platforms. The role focuses on creating meaningful interactions, fostering relationships, and driving loyalty through vibrant, interactive experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Build, grow and manage customer communities on WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Facebook Groups and similar platforms.
• Develop and execute monthly community engagement calendars with educational posts, product updates, success stories, polls, quizzes and challenges.
• Moderate discussions to maintain a positive and respectful environment.
• Respond to customer queries or coordinate with internal teams for timely resolutions.
• Identify and nurture community champions, power users and encourage peer‑to‑peer knowledge sharing.
• Gather feedback and share insights with Product, Marketing and Support teams.
• Organise webinars, AMA sessions, live events, contests and other initiatives to boost participation.
• Track community health metrics such as growth, active members, engagement rate and sentiment, and report recommendations.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in community management, customer engagement or related fields.
• Hands‑on experience managing WhatsApp Communities and other social platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong storytelling abilities.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and work cross‑functionally.
• Analytical mindset with experience tracking engagement metrics.
