Commis – Continental, Indian & Tandoor

About the role

Join the culinary team at a leading hotel in Goa as a Commis specializing in Continental, Indian and Tandoor cuisine. You will support the kitchen in delivering high‑quality dishes while maintaining safety and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, presentation and quality standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters and monitor food quality.
• Pull frozen items for thawing, portion, arrange and garnish dishes, and maintain food logs.
• Communicate assistance needs during busy periods and inform the chef of excess or out‑of‑stock items.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating staff as needed.
• Follow all company safety, security and uniform policies and report any hazards.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb and perform repetitive motions.
