CMF Designer – Eyewear

About the role

We are seeking a creative CMF Designer specialized in eyewear to shape the look and feel of our frames and lenses. You will translate trends, collection concepts, and brand directions into compelling color, material, and finish solutions that resonate with consumers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop colour, material and finish directions for eyewear collections, covering both frames and lenses.
• Create colour palettes and CMF concepts aligned with collection narratives, brand positioning and market trends.
• Explore surface treatments such as gloss, matte, translucent, metallic, gradient, pearlescent and other finishes.
• Research emerging trends across fashion, interiors, automotive, technology and related categories to identify new CMF opportunities.
• Produce CMF boards, colour palettes, material references and detailed specifications to communicate design intent.
• Collaborate with eyewear designers, sourcing, manufacturing and suppliers to ensure feasibility and production readiness.
• Translate conceptual CMF directions into production‑ready specifications and review samples to maintain consistency.
• Build and maintain a CMF library of colours, materials, finishes and supplier capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Accessory Design, Materials Design or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in CMF, product design, fashion, materials or accessories.
• Strong understanding of colour, material and finish, with a keen visual and aesthetic sensibility.
• Ability to research and identify relevant trends and translate them into viable design solutions.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work across creative and production teams.
