Cloud Support Engineer (Night Shift)

About the role

Snowflake is expanding its Global Support team and is looking for a Cloud Support Engineer to work the night shift. You will help customers get the most out of the Snowflake AI Data Cloud, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and feedback to product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive technical solutions to complex problems via email, web, and phone while adhering to SLAs.
• Analyze and tune query performance, document known solutions, and report bugs or feature requests.
• Partner with engineering teams to prioritize and resolve customer issues.
• Provide support coverage during holidays and weekends as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years in technical support or a similar customer‑facing role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Experience working in a 24x7 on‑call environment, including night shifts.

Required skills

• Strong SQL skills, including analytical and window functions.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major RDBMS.
• Experience querying semi‑structured data formats such as JSON and XML.
• Working knowledge of a major cloud service provider and cloud architecture best practices.
