Cloud Operations Specialist

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies is seeking a Cloud Operations Specialist to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of its cloud environments. You will work closely with development, product, and IT teams to keep services running smoothly and to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cloud platforms (primarily Azure) to guarantee uptime and optimal performance.
• Respond to alerts, troubleshoot incidents, and coordinate resolutions with development and IT teams.
• Execute routine maintenance, patch updates, and security recommendations.
• Analyze performance metrics, optimize resource utilization, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery plans, and overall data availability.
• Document operational procedures, incident reports, and technical documentation.
• Participate in regular meetings with product teams to align cloud infrastructure with business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (B.E., MCA, M.Sc.).
• 2‑4 years of experience in cloud operations or related IT roles.
• Hands‑on experience with public cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.

Required skills

• Azure cloud platform expertise.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code development (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).
• Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Network architecture knowledge – Hub‑Spoke, Private Endpoints, Firewalls.
• Design and implementation of multi‑cloud and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Understanding of migration approaches.
• Familiarity with AI concepts (advantageous).
• Customer support experience and ITSM processes.
