Cloud FinOps Analyst – Optimize Cloud Spend

About the role

Airbus India is modernising its IT landscape and seeks a Cloud FinOps Analyst to maximise the value of cloud investments. You will join the cloud computing team, driving cost-efficiency and fostering a culture of responsible cloud usage across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cloud consumption across multi-cloud platforms, detect anomalies and escalates unplanned spikes.
• Design, develop and maintain dashboards, reports and KPIs that detail resource usage and spend.
• Support business units in understanding their cloud spend against road‑maps and budgets.
• Analyse usage patterns to provide insights for strategic and operational decisions.
• Educate internal customers on cost-optimization initiatives and best practices.
• Build and automate services that optimise cloud resource utilisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience with cloud billing, pricing models and discount programmes (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Ability to bridge finance and technology, influencing cross‑functional stakeholders on cost‑optimization.
• Hands‑on experience with third‑party cost‑management tools such as CloudHealth or Cloudability.
• Strong background in automation, DevOps and infrastructure deployment (micro‑services, IaC).
• Track record of working in Agile Scrum or Kanban environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Customer‑focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
