Clinic Registered Nurse (School Healthcare)

About the role

The Clinic Registered Nurse will lead the on‑site health clinic of a residential school in Pune, providing day‑to‑day medical care for students and staff. This full‑time position requires a compassionate professional who can assess, treat, and monitor health issues in a dynamic educational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and treat minor illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions among students and staff.
• Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate medication logs.
• Keep detailed health records, manage clinic inventory, and ensure compliance with health‑safety regulations.
• Coordinate referrals to external healthcare providers when necessary.
• Prepare and execute emergency response plans, including first‑aid readiness for school activities.
• Promote health education and support wellness initiatives across the campus.
• Collaborate with school leadership, parents, and multidisciplinary staff on health‑related matters.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from a recognized nursing council.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma or Bachelor’s in Nursing).
• Experience in pediatric, school, or community health nursing is preferred.
• Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and remain calm under pressure.
