Cleanroom Technician – Facility Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a Cleanroom Technician to maintain and support the operation of our controlled environment facilities. The role involves routine upkeep of cleanroom systems, ensuring compliance with contamination control standards, and assisting with equipment installations and validations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of cleanroom systems such as HVAC, chillers, exhaust, compressed air, DI water, and gas lines.
• Operate equipment and machinery within the cleanroom while adhering to gowning and hygiene protocols.
• Support installation, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
• Monitor and record cleanroom parameters (temperature, humidity, particle count) and report deviations.
• Manage building management and environmental control systems, responding to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Document procedures, batch records, and logs accurately and timely.
• Handle material transport in compliance with contamination control guidelines.
• Assist with cleanroom validations, equipment calibration, and inspections.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a cleanroom or high‑tech manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience working in a Class 100‑1000 cleanroom.
• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
