About the role

The Portland Area Manager will lead our janitorial teams across multiple sites, ensuring cleaning and maintenance standards are consistently met. This role blends leadership, customer service, and operational expertise while upholding health and safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily janitorial operations across several locations, guaranteeing high cleanliness standards.
• Manage, train, and develop a team of janitors and supervisors, fostering performance and teamwork.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits, identify improvement areas, and implement corrective actions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, understand their needs, and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring resources are available.
• Prepare and control budgets for labor, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Address client or staff issues promptly and professionally.
• Implement sustainability practices in cleaning methods and products.
• Produce reports and performance analyses for senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading janitorial or facilities cleaning teams.
