Civil Engineer – Estimation, Costing & Tendering

About the role

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with 2‑4 years of experience to join our team, focusing on estimation, costing and tendering for government and architectural projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates, cost plans, BOQs, quantity take‑offs and rate analyses for civil and building projects.
• Develop and manage tender documentation, both technical and commercial.
• Analyse architectural, structural and service drawings to determine quantities and project requirements.
• Assist in budget planning, cost control and preparation of project cost estimates.
• Collect, evaluate and compare quotations from contractors, suppliers and vendors.
• Support government tendering processes, including preparation of required documents and review of tender conditions.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, clients and government departments.
• Handle measurement, billing, variation statements and cost reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to estimates, tenders and project costs.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of professional experience in civil engineering, preferably on government projects.
• Hands‑on experience with estimation, costing, BOQ preparation and tendering.
• Previous exposure to architectural practice or consultancy environments.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Excellent communication, coordination and documentation skills.
