Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

ECS, a consultancy firm, is looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead its financial operations and support its strategic growth. The role covers financial planning, accounting, tax, treasury and payroll for India and the UAE, vendor handling and procurement, and must align with organisational goals and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, accounting, tax, treasury and payroll activities for India and the UAE
• Manage vendor handling and procurement operations
• Ensure financial activities comply with regulatory frameworks

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including 5+ years as CFO in a similar domain
• Proven track record as a CFO or senior finance executive in a technology or consulting company
• Prior experience in the UAE and India, with knowledge of regional financial and tax regulations
• Experience leading financial operations in technology, consulting or similar sectors

Required skills

• Financial planning, analysis and reporting, including budgets, forecasts and financial statements
• Accounting principles and compliance with GAAP/IFRS and tax regulations
• Cash flow management, working capital optimisation and treasury operations
• Payroll oversight for India and the UAE
• Vendor handling and procurement
• Leadership, mentoring and team management
• Good-to-have: UAE tax regulations, strategic partnerships, investor relations and fundraising, financial software, CA or MBA (Finance)
