Chief AI Expert – Engineering

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies is seeking a visionary Chief AI Expert to lead AI transformation across its Vehicle Motion Division and BSW.ai Service House. This senior role focuses on turning AI concepts into measurable business impact and embedding an AI‑first culture throughout engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a high‑impact AI roadmap that drives revenue, speed, quality and productivity.
• Move AI use cases from idea through pilot to production at scale.
• Establish robust LLMOps and MLOps standards and ensure safe, secure AI deployment.
• Lead development of AI‑powered products, embedded/edge AI for safety‑critical domains, and AI‑driven software development processes.
• Design knowledge‑fabric, RAG and agent‑workflow architectures for production‑grade Generative AI.
• Champion responsible AI governance and build AI‑first leadership habits across teams.

Required profile

• PhD with a specialization in AI (or equivalent advanced degree).
• 12‑18 years of experience in engineering or product delivery, with strong exposure to AI/ML/GenAI in production environments.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change at scale.
• Deep understanding of AI architecture, context engineering, associated tools, governance and enterprise deployment.
