Chartered Accountant – Taxation & Compliance

About the role

FaymFaym is building India's creator commerce infrastructure and needs a Chartered Accountant to own its end‑to‑end taxation and compliance function. You will work closely with internal teams and external advisors to ensure timely filings, audit readiness, and regulatory adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all statutory tax obligations, including GST, TDS, advance tax, and Income Tax, ensuring accurate and on‑time filings.
• Prepare for and support tax and statutory audits, maintaining complete documentation and reconciliation schedules.
• Handle tax notices and assessments, coordinate responses, and liaise with external consultants or authorities.
• Review vendor transactions, invoices, contracts, payroll, and expenses from a tax perspective and provide guidance.
• Track changes in tax laws, update internal processes, and implement compliance controls.
• Develop structured trackers, documentation systems, and internal controls for taxation and compliance.
• Collaborate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies on tax‑related matters.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1–3 years of post‑qualification experience in taxation, compliance, audit, or finance.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, advance tax, and related statutory requirements.
• Experience preparing tax filings, reconciliations, handling notices, and supporting audits.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple compliance deadlines independently.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities related to tax implications of business decisions.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial and tax reconciliations and reporting.
