Chartered Accountant – Indirect Tax Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to join our Ahmedabad office as an Indirect Tax Specialist. You will be responsible for ensuring our clients stay compliant with the latest GST, VAT and other indirect tax regulations while providing strategic tax advice.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor changes in indirect tax laws and ensure timely filing of GST, VAT and related returns.
• Identify and rectify compliance gaps through thorough reviews.
• Advise clients on tax implications of business transactions and suggest optimisation opportunities.
• Develop strong client relationships, understand their financial goals and deliver tailored tax solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, mentor junior staff and improve internal tax processes.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• In‑depth knowledge of GST, VAT and other indirect tax regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
