Channel Team Lead – Transportation Management

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Channel Team Lead to oversee shift operations at its Delivery Center in Hyderabad. The role supports the DC manager in performance management and drives the operational plan to ensure timely and reliable delivery for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily shift operations at the distribution centre.
• Support the DC manager with performance tracking and operational planning.
• Lead a team, providing clear direction in ambiguous situations.
• Communicate objectives and expectations to the team and ensure alignment with Amazon’s customer‑centric goals.
• Analyze operational data, identify risks and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑obsessed environment.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Bachelor’s degree and fluency in English.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer‑facing, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing setting; 3 + years of experience within Amazon is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
