Certified Laboratory Technician – Histochemistry Laboratory

About the role

The Sudha Gopalakrishnan Brain Centre at IIT Madras is expanding its Histochemistry Laboratory team. We are seeking motivated Certified Laboratory Technicians, both senior and junior, to support cutting‑edge neuroscience research.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain histochemistry equipment such as Cryostat, Autostainer, and Coverslipper.
• Perform cryosectioning and prepare laboratory solutions and reagents.
• Set up and sustain experimental workflow processes.
• Follow laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) rigorously.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary research team.
• Maintain laboratory hygiene and adhere to biosafety protocols.
