Category Manager – Baby Gear & Toys

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and strategic Category Manager to lead the Baby Gear and Toys portfolio. In this role you will source new brands, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the right products are available at the right price and time.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, onboard and manage high‑performing brands in the Baby Gear and Toys categories.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts to achieve cost‑effective procurement.
• Monitor purchase orders, inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and supplier performance to maintain competitive pricing.
• Review sales data to drive category growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with merchandising, marketing and internal teams to improve product visibility.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sourcing, procurement or supply‑chain management within Baby Gear, Toys or related categories.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Good knowledge of market trends, supplier evaluation and cost management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
• Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, complex trackers).
