About the role
The Cashier will work full‑time at our Bhubaneswar jewellery store, handling customer purchases and ensuring accurate transaction processing. You will greet shoppers, answer basic product queries and support the sales team to deliver a smooth billing experience.
Key responsibilities
- Process cash, card and digital payments using the POS system.
- Issue receipts, balance the register and reconcile daily transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized billing counter.
- Follow store policies for returns, exchanges and security procedures.
- Assist with basic inventory checks for sold items and support overall store operations.
Required profile
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Clear communication and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Reliability, honesty and ability to follow confidentiality protocols.
- Good time‑management skills and ability to stand for extended periods.
Required skills
- Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Familiarity with digital payment platforms.
- Basic computer literacy.
