Cashier – On-site (Pune)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Cashier position is based in Pune City, supporting NETGEAR’s retail operations. You will manage customer transactions, ensure accurate cash handling, and provide friendly service to shoppers.

Key responsibilities

• Process billing, payments (cash, card, digital) and issue receipts using the POS system.
• Greet customers, answer basic product or service questions, and direct them to appropriate team members.
• Maintain and reconcile the cash drawer, following loss‑prevention procedures.
• Assist with daily sales reporting and keep the checkout area organized.
• Support store operations during peak hours and adhere to NETGEAR’s customer‑service and compliance standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; commerce or business coursework is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity in handling financial transactions, and reliable time‑management.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and manage high‑volume customer interactions.
• Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred but not mandatory.
