Cashier - Multiple Locations

About the role

The Cashier will manage all cash‑related transactions for multiple branch locations, ensuring compliance with internal banking guidelines and external regulations. This full‑time position involves accurate processing of deposits, withdrawals, and loan repayments while delivering courteous service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process cheques, drafts, dividend warrants, pay orders and other instruments within authorized limits.
• Disburse cash for withdrawal requests and collect cash for deposit challans.
• Maintain and reconcile daily cash registers, petty‑cash, and asset registers; prepare end‑of‑day reports.
• Operate and safeguard the branch vault in coordination with the Operations Officer.
• Assist customers with transactions, explain repayment schedules, and promote bank products.
• Ensure adherence to turnaround times, regulatory compliance, and internal policies for all cashier operations.
• Validate customer identity during cash withdrawals and verify deposit slip accuracy.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; banking or finance background preferred.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with branch staff and handle confidential information.
