Capital Markets Lawyer – Associate/Senior Associate

About the role

Trilegal is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Capital Markets practice in Mumbai. The successful candidate will work with a diverse client base on high‑profile capital‑markets transactions, contributing to the firm’s reputation for excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on initial public offerings (IPOs) and qualified institutional placements.
• Structure and execute foreign currency convertible bonds and global depository receipts.
• Handle a range of other capital‑markets transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers to develop transaction strategies and documentation.
• Maintain adherence to the firm’s information security policies and safeguard confidential information.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
• 1 to 5 years of post‑qualification experience in capital‑markets or related corporate law.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of capital‑markets regulations and transaction structures.
• Experience with IPOs, qualified institutional placements, convertible bonds, and global depository receipts.
