Calibration Engineer – Vehicle Testing (Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Calibration Engineer to lead vehicle testing and calibration of ABS and ESC systems for commercial vehicles. The role involves close collaboration with OEM customers and cross‑functional teams to develop, calibrate and validate control algorithms throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle tests in summer and winter sessions on test tracks across India.
• Evaluate performance, apply and calibrate control algorithms for Electronic Stability Control and braking systems.
• Analyse customer requirements and translate them into calibration targets.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and data‑acquisition issues during development.
• Provide technical support to customers and ensure compliance with Bosch, customer and legal standards.
• Follow company development and quality processes and support project acquisition activities.

Required profile

• B.E. or M.Tech in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electronics engineering.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in vehicle testing and calibration.
• Strong knowledge of ABS/ESC systems, homologation testing and vehicle dynamics.
• Excellent driving skills and ability to push vehicles to physical limits for calibration.
• Analytical mindset with good logical reasoning.

Required skills

• Programming in C, MATLAB, Simulink, ASCET.
• Power‑train calibration and interface to ESC/AEB.
• Hands‑on experience with DAQ systems, VBOX, Vector tools, ETAS tools, data loggers and sensors.
• Understanding of automotive industry trends and regulations.
