C++ Senior Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior C++ Developer to join Bosch’s automotive software team in Bangalore. You will work on cutting‑edge braking system algorithms for electric and autonomous vehicles, helping to transform brake software across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain C++ code for advanced braking systems such as ESP, iBooster, ESPHev, IPB, DPB, Brake‑by‑Wire and Vehicle Dynamics 2.0.
• Collaborate with system and hardware engineers to integrate software into electric and autonomous vehicle platforms.
• Apply coding standards (MISRA, AUTOSAR, CERT) and perform code reviews to ensure safety‑critical quality.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to testing and validation.
• Document designs using UML and maintain architectural artifacts.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of professional experience in C++ software development, preferably in the automotive or embedded domain.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming, design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Familiarity with UML modelling and software architecture concepts.
• Experience with safety‑critical coding guidelines such as MISRA, AUTOSAR and CERT.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
