Business Trainee – Global Regulatory Reporting

About the role

Join Invesco’s Global Regulatory Reporting (GRR) team as a Business Trainee. You will support regulatory reporting within Global Compliance, contribute to process‑improvement initiatives, and gain hands‑on experience with US SEC filings and order‑management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support the regulatory reporting area, preparing and filing US SEC reports such as Section‑16, 13G, 13F, 13H and 13D.
• Analyze data and prepare documentation for substantial shareholding reporting to meet global regulatory requirements.
• Stay current on global regulatory changes and update procedures and applications accordingly.
• Work with Order Management Systems, including CRD and Bloomberg, to extract and analyse data.
• Identify, review and respond to external requests from various departments and business units.
• Coordinate and prioritize projects with a focus on delivering results.

Required profile

• Understanding of financial markets, financial products and the mutual fund industry.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work US night‑time hours (6:30 PM‑3:30 AM).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across time zones.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and high ethical standards.
• MBA/PGDM in Finance with no current backlogs.
