Business Development Manager – Sales & Client Acquisition

About the role

Wateria is looking for a proactive Business Development Manager/Executive to drive customer acquisition, nurture client relationships, and represent the brand at trade events. The role is based in Verna, Goa and reports directly to the Director of Sales & Business Development.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new market opportunities, onboarding new clients to achieve revenue targets.
• Maintain and grow long‑term relationships with existing and prospective key accounts.
• Represent Wateria at industry exhibitions, trade shows and promotional events.
• Assist in the execution of local and regional marketing campaigns to boost brand visibility.
• Prepare accurate sales quotations, follow up with prospects, and convert inquiries into confirmed sales.
• Provide weekly and monthly sales reports, including order summaries and conversion metrics.
• Utilise AI‑driven tools and modern software to create compelling sales presentations and pitch decks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in a managerial or executive capacity.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Hands‑on experience participating in trade shows or large corporate events.
• Willingness to adopt AI tools for presentation design and workflow optimisation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for order summaries and sales reporting.
