Business Development Manager – MICE Operations

About the role

The Business Development Manager – MICE Operations will lead end‑to‑end execution of corporate MICE movements for both domestic and international events. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Channel, you will ensure seamless delivery for large groups, from post‑sales handover through final billing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complete lifecycle of MICE events, including incentives, conferences, leadership meets and R&R programs.
• Prepare detailed operational plans covering travel, accommodation, transfers, F&B and event setups.
• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, DMCs, transport providers and event agencies to ensure flawless execution.
• Negotiate with vendors to achieve cost efficiencies, upgrades and value‑added services.
• Monitor budgets, track costs and protect margins as per defined P&L.
• Validate supplier invoices, work with finance for payments, reconciliations and billing closure.
• Oversee visa processes and ensure compliance for all travelers.
• Travel with groups when required to manage on‑ground execution and guest experience.
• Handle operational challenges, develop contingency plans and maintain status trackers.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented professional with strong operational control and vendor coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple high‑value accounts and large corporate groups (50‑1000+ participants).
• Excellent crisis handling capability and client‑focused communication.
• Financial discipline with experience in budgeting, cost tracking and margin protection.
