Business Development Manager

About the role

Talcord is seeking an energetic Business Development Manager to expand its market presence in Kerala. The role focuses on generating new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and achieving sales targets through field activities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities via field visits, networking, referrals and lead generation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate Talcord products or services.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and product demonstrations.
• Manage leads throughout the sales cycle from initial contact to conversion.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Perform regular market and competitor analysis to uncover new opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, sales activities and follow‑ups.
• Prepare sales reports and provide market feedback to management.

Required profile

• Minimum 1+ year of experience in field sales or business development.
• Graduation degree (mandatory).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Target‑oriented, self‑motivated and willing to travel within the assigned territory.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Familiarity with CRM tools.
