Business Development Lead

About the role

Paxika is seeking a Business Development & Partnerships Lead to own and grow its client acquisition engine across the hospitality ecosystem. You will work directly with founders, hotel owners, restaurant operators, developers, investors, architects and designers to turn opportunities into lasting engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential Paxika clients.
• Identify hospitality businesses, founders, investors and developers that could benefit from Paxika’s services.
• Conduct targeted outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, calls and introductions.
• Develop relationships with senior decision‑makers and convert inbound enquiries into qualified opportunities.
• Understand client requirements, position relevant Paxika services and lead commercial conversations.
• Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms and close engagements.
• Develop strategic partnerships and referral networks across hospitality, real estate, architecture and design.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, track conversion rates and continuously experiment with new acquisition channels.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, consulting or a related role.
• Proven track record of generating and closing business.
• Strong relationship‑led sales approach and confidence speaking with senior decision‑makers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and follow‑up skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and manage a structured pipeline.
• Genuine interest in hospitality, food, travel, real estate or experience‑focused businesses.
