Business Development Executive – Recruitment Consultancy

About the role

Karizma Konnect is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to expand its recruitment consultancy vertical. Based in Vadodara, the role focuses on acquiring new clients and managing mid‑to‑senior level hiring mandates across India (excluding the South region). The position is full‑time, working from the office, Monday to Saturday.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and onboard new clients across PAN India (excluding South region).
• Generate business opportunities for recruitment services, especially for managerial and leadership‑level positions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business.
• Understand client hiring requirements and align recruitment solutions accordingly.
• Coordinate with internal recruitment teams to ensure timely delivery of mandates.
• Negotiate terms of business and close deals with prospective clients.
• Maintain regular follow‑ups and build a strong sales pipeline.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in business development within the recruitment or staffing industry.
• Proven track record of onboarding clients for mid to senior‑level hiring (manager and above).
• Experience handling PAN India clients (South region exposure acceptable).
• Strong network of HR leaders, decision‑makers, and business executives.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment.
