Business Development Executive – Lead Generation & Client Management

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to drive lead generation, nurture client relationships and convert opportunities for Skyy Rider Electric, an EV manufacturer based in Bhubaneswar.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with prospects, ensuring professional communication and timely follow‑up.
• Draft and send cold emails, proposals and other business correspondence.
• Convert qualified leads into business opportunities through effective persuasion and relationship management.
• Prepare presentations, reports and proposals using MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Google Docs, Slides and Sheets.
• Maintain and update client databases and reporting systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of client requirements.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and monitor competitors.
• Achieve monthly targets for lead conversion and business growth.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline; freshers and career‑restart candidates are welcome.
• Fluent in English and Hindi, both written and spoken.
• Strong telephone etiquette and confidence in client conversations.
• Ability to multitask, work independently and meet deadlines.
• Result‑oriented with good negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.
• Excellent written email communication, especially cold emailing.
