Business Development Associate – Onsite in Bhubaneswar

About the role

The Business Development Associate (BDE) is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Bhubaneswar. The associate will identify and nurture new business opportunities for Bictors, a tech‑driven institute that upskills data scientists and analysts. The role involves building relationships with prospective partners, following up leads, and supporting sales campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and nurture new business opportunities for Bictors.
• Build relationships with prospective partners and conduct follow‑up calls, meetings and presentations.
• Conduct market research to understand trends, target segments and competitor activity.
• Prepare proposals and collaborate with internal teams to align offerings with client needs.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions in CRM tools.
• Support sales campaigns and participate in events or sessions that promote Bictors’ programs.

Required profile

• Strong presentation skills with experience delivering clear, engaging presentations.
• Proven ability in lead generation, prospecting, follow‑up and pipeline management.
• Market research skills to analyse industry trends and competitor activity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and internal interactions.
• Relevant sales or business development experience in education, training or technology sectors (beneficial).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field (preferred) and ability to work on‑site in Bhubaneswar.
